Boats Going By Cabin &
Watercraft on False River

These are some photos of just a few of the folks passing by right in front of the dock on the property.  Bring your boat-there is plenty of room for you to dock it, with a boat launch right around the corner!

The 21-mile long False River lake gives you plenty of room for water skiing, boating, fishing, and jet skiing!  There are two public launches in New Roads, and two restaurants on the water.

The City of New Roads on the banks of beautiful False River.

A closer view of New Roads.  Two restaurants, Satterfield's and Morel's, offer a public boat launch in New Roads.

False River is a 21-mile long lake that is one mile wide in spots.  It is a horseshoe shaped lake that was once part of the mighty Mississippi River.

Enjoy fishing and water skiing!

There's plenty of room to zoom around on your jet ski too!

Homemade Party Barge - one of many boats that turned out for the annual Blessing of the Boats on Sunday of Memorial  Day Weekend, 2007.

Boats all lined up for their individual blessing, which followed a brief ceremony in remembrance of all our Veterans.

The local Kiwanis club sang the National Anthem and God Bless America.  The Holy Water was about to be sprinkled on us in this photo.
