Mardi Gras 2007 in New Roads

Two parades were held.  The themes for the parades were "Our Heritage" and "Enchanted Places".  Approximately 75,000 people attended the parades.  This family-friendly event boasts the second oldest Krewe next to one out of New Orleans, and is the second largest Mardi Gras celebration in the State of Louisiana.  There was approximately 75 floats and/or groups that participated in the parades.
